I was given this Kantha cloth piece to work with a while back. I was able to make to bags with it. The fabric did have two sides but since it was hand sewn together I was only able to showcase one. The unused side was hot pink with a simple floral design. The orange, more geometric design you see is what I preferred to use. The orange and navy blue in the design went really well with denim in my opinion. So I made a zippered cross body bag and a tote. Both adorned with my upcycled denim tassels, cotton lace trim and a couple jean belt loops with thick thread.
